Here’s everything you need to know about her:

1. She’s a Sardaarni

Given her success in Tollywood, it comes as quite a surprise that Taapsee actually hails from a Jat Sikh family, 

born in New Delhi on 1 August 1987.

2. She’s quite the athlete

This one’s easy to believe, because of how fit she looks. The gorgeous actress is an ace squash player.

3. Geek alert!

Pannu has an engineering degree to her credit from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology in New Delhi.

She also worked as a software engineer before modeling came into the picture.

4. She’s a biker

The zesty actress loves riding, and also endorses Honda’s range of two-wheelers. 

5. She’s had seven releases in a single year!

In 2011, Taapsee went on to feature in seven South Indian movies that released in the same year, namely Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju, Mr. Perfect, Veera, Vandhaan Vendraan, Mogudu, and Doubles. How’s that for hardworking?

6. She’s an app developer…

As a software engineer, Pannu along with two other friends developed an iOS app called FontSwap. 

It was quite something for its time, but thanks to an extremely tedious process of actually getting it out there, 

it never made it to the app store.

7. …And a wedding planner!

We’ve already spoken about Taapsee being an engineer before she turned to modeling and acting. 

She is also an entrepreneur and manages a successful wedding planning business called ‘The Wedding Factory’.
