Why we ride is a Documentary film that portrays the passion of the motorcycle riders and the soul of their machines. An inspiring celebration of the motorcycling community, this documentary film shares the passion of motorcycle riding and shows the life of the friends and families who ride together. They say the family that rides together, stays together and this movie does prove the point.

It covers many aspects of motorcycling, from how motorcycling evolved, covering its history and moving on to hill climbs, motorcycle clubs and racing. Motorcycling is such a vast topic with so many people who love it and have their own unique understanding and niche, it would be difficult for a film to cover ALL of it. But Why We Ride does a great job of covering many aspects.
'Hitting the Apex' is the story of six MotoGP fighters - six of the fastest motorcycle racers the world has ever seen - and of the fates that awaited them at the peak of the sport. The movie documents Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Marco Simoncelli and Casey Stoner and the movie is narrated by Brad Pitt.

HITTING THE APEX begins at the start of 2010 season during one of the most closely fought MotoGP championships in recent history. The movie does a fantastic job of portraying the extreme competition between the racers as they chase for glory at over two hundred miles an hour on a motorcycle. There are plenty of heart-in-the-mouth moments showing high-speed crashes (which look all the more horrifying in slow-motion) showing how Pedrosa and Lorenzo both broke their collarbones, Lorenzo lost the end of his ring finger and Marquez damaged his optic nerve. The footage of the fatal crash in Malaysia which cost rising star Simoncelli his life in 2011 is also particularly chilling, emphasising how dangerous the sport is.
In 1971, 'On Any Sunday' starring Steve McQueen opened in theatres and wrote its place in motorcycle history. On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter promises to give more insight into the minds of riders.

The movie strings together a series of wonderfully entertaining portraits, of Australian-born freestyle motocross champ Robbie Maddison (a kind of latter-day Evel Knievel whose accomplishments including jumping his bike the length of a football field), of the “Rush”-like rivalry between rising MotoGP racers Marc Marquez and Dani, and of Derrick Simuunza, a Zambian village doctor whose motorcycle allows him to service some 300 patients per day.

4. TT Closer to the edge
The film charts the buildup to the 2010 races and then documents each of the races and their results. These take place along public roads through the Isle of Man, covering 37.73 miles of terrain, and packed with thousands of spectators who have come from all over the world. The film reveals how, for more than 100 years, riders have come to the Isle of Man to compete.

5. Dust To Glory
