"Ranbir and I have become a lot closer now. I’ve known him for quite a while. We have a past but we consciously make sure it doesn’t hamper our present. At this point, I share a great comfort level with Ranbir, probably the best comfort level ever."

"It's not something that has ever crossed my mind. We have both moved on. It has made both of us better persons. "Of course it took us some time to get back to being normal but now I don’t want to keep revisiting that again and again. There has been no thought recently and I am really happy. We make such beautiful movies together. I don’t see why our failed relationship should affect that.”

When Ranbir spoke about tying the knot with now girlfriend Katrina Kaif

“Both of us are sure about our relationship and if we don’t open about it now, it would be showing disrespect to the relationship. I am 33 now and it is time I have my family. Even Katrina wants that. I know the importance of gossip and my funda is simple. When there is gossip, try not to react and it is advisable not to think too much about yourself.”

And obviously the fact that Deepika and Ranveer look so happy together. He  even got down on one knee at the IIFA!
