The Homewrecker Rumors
Much as we hate saying, ‘We told you so,’ we don’t think Twinkle ought to have been really surprised when tales of Akshay’s growing intimacy with his Aitraaz co-star Priyanka Chopra started floating. Before things could progress further however, Twinkle threw down an ultimatum and banned him from ever working with PeeCee again post Waqt.
The Khiladi 786 Controversy
Unfortunately even his brute muscle power couldn’t help our Khiladi claw his way out of the controversy that the name of his 2012 potboiler landed him in, with the actor ultimately being compelled to change the name of the movie to Khiladi No. 786 to avoid the religious connotations associated with the earlier name.
The Shilpa Shetty Affair
Sigh. And another one bites the dust. If Shilpa Shetty was harbouring any hopes of reforming this B-town Casanova, we are afraid to say that they died a sad death when Akshay decided to set his sights on Twinkle instead.
